Kimchi Workshop: Vegan Day Special – Gateshead
Summer on the Southside (formerly By The River Brew Co.) hosts a special Vegan Day edition of KC Square’s Kimchi Workshop, taught by an experienced kimchi-making chef guiding you through authentic techniques step by step.
You’ll learn the history behind kimchi and why it’s such a beloved staple of Korean cuisine, with all ingredients, materials and tools provided. This vegan-only session also includes a welcome drink, alcoholic or non-alcoholic, on arrival. Everyone leaves with their own jar of vegan kimchi they’ve made themselves, with the option to make an extra jar for a loved one for just £6.00.
