Jez Lowe and The Bad Pennies: Defrosted! – County Durham
Award-winning songwriter and BBC Radio 4 presenter Jez Lowe brings his band The Bad Pennies to Bishop Auckland Town Hall for Defrosted!, a festive night of seasonal songs, old favourites, toe-tapping tunes and witty banter.
It’s part folk concert, part Christmas singalong, taking a whistle-stop tour through the music and traditions of County Durham, Tyneside and Northumberland. Expect harmony vocals, guitars, fiddle, Northumbrian pipes, bass and piano, plus Lowe’s trademark songwriting and a good dose of laughs.
Make sure you book early to get your Jez Lowe Christmas fix for 2026!
