Adam Wakeman, longtime keyboard and guitar player for Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne, started the project in 2013 when the Sabbath’s security guard asked him to play a jazzy version of the Sabbath set on a bar’s piano.
In 2020, the first Jazz Sabbath album was released and got rave reviews from rock and jazz critics.
