In the Square Summer Series – Sunderland
Keel Square becomes the ultimate party destination this month with two back-to-back weekends of live music at In the Square Summer Series.
It kicks off on Friday 21st August with George Michael tribute Rob Lamberti, followed by a Love the 90s Festival on Saturday 22nd, and a Girlypop Festival on Sunday 23rd, featuring top tribute acts to Beyoncé, Sabrina Carpenter and Taylor Swift.
The August Bank Holiday weekend brings The Bootleg Beatles on Friday 28th, a day of house music from Armand Van Helden, SOSA, Sidney Charles and more on Saturday 29th, and Road to Nashville on Sunday 30th, a day of country music, great food and Wild West fun inspired by artists including Shania Twain, Luke Combs and Dolly Parton. Family Fest with K-Pop Live rounds things off on Monday 31st, bringing music, entertainment and festival fun for all the family.
Expect food and drink stalls throughout, plus fairground rides including the Waltzer, Tagada and Starflyer.
