Hannah Perry + Preview – BALTIC

This exhibition presents Hannah Perry’s new body of work, which explores labour, motherhood and class.

Working with various media, Hannah delves into mental and emotional health in the modern day. Her pieces reflect her own experiences growing up in a working-class family, capturing the force, violence, and trauma of transition.

This psychologically-charged installation will use materials associated with manual occupations in manufacturing and industry, from sheet metal and car lacquer to body wrap and hydraulics.
