Flowers on Tulle with Olga Prinku: Typography Hoop Workshop – Biscuit Factory

Learn the basics of flowers-on-tulle embroidery in this full-day workshop, led by North Yorkshire-based embroidery artist Olga Prinku.

Olga will teach you how to make your own typography hoop – perfect for hanging on your wall or giving away as a special gift. Among other things, you’ll learn how to stretch and secure the tulle fabric in the hoop, prepare the stems of the dried flowers, and the methods of attaching flowers to the fabric.

All tools and materials will be provided for you, including a large selection of dried flowers, tulle fabric and metallic thread in a variety of colours.
