Discovery Nights: Unplugged – Discovery Museum
This new Discovery Night encourages you to take a break from your screens and ground yourself in the moment.
Scattered throughout the Discovery Museum’s gallery spaces, you’ll find areas for mindful meditation, book swaps, behind-the-scenes access to the Tyne & Wear Archives, retro board games and compelling live storytelling.
There will also be more hands-on activities, including embroidery with artist Richard Bliss, sea glass crafting with Nature Makers, pub-style quizzes hosted by local comedian Si Beckwith and more.
Wander around, grab yourself a drink and snack from the bar, then become absorbed in the many sessions around the museum.
