Celebrating Art and Heritage: Alan Reed Exhibition at The Blagdon Gallery

An exhibition not to miss for art enthusiasts and everyone who loves the North East – Blagdon Gallery are hosting an extensive array of original artworks by Northumberland born artist, Alan Reed. Displayed in the stunning gallery in the Milkhope Centre throughout April and into May, you can experience Alan’s exceptional landscapes, created over the past four decades.

The display offers a moment to contemplate Alan’s artistic progression, tracing back from his initial pieces to his most recent works. Alan shares, “Throughout these forty years, it has been my honor to depict the essence of various sceneries, from urban landscapes to serene pastoral settings, and coastal allure. Each artwork narrates its unique tale and marks a significant phase in my development as an artist.”

This event is particularly meaningful as it includes a retrospective segment dedicated to his father, Kenneth Reed’s, extraordinary golf course artworks. Kenneth Reed is celebrated for his contributions to golf artistry worldwide.
