Castle, Deer Park and Gardens – Raby Castle
Raby Castle, Deer Park and Gardens is a landmark location in County Durham, one of the most impressive intact castles in the North of England.
Built by the powerful Nevilles in the 14th century, it’s been the family home of the Vanes for nearly 400 years, with a powerful exterior and superb collections to explore inside.
Your ticket covers full day access to the 200-acre Deer Park and the 18th-century Walled Garden, recently remodelled by garden designer Luciano Giubbilei with Lady Barnard, complete with the estate’s famous yew hedges and the iconic Raby fig. You’ll also find complimentary children’s trails, access to the Castle Terrace, and plenty more to explore, from The Plotters’ Forest adventure playground to lunch at The Vinery and a browse round The Coach House’s curated homeware and gifts.
