Empire Consett’s 2026 pantomime is Beauty and the Beast, written and directed by Leah Bell, back with her company for another festive run.
When the selfish Prince Rafael is turned into a hideous Beast, only his most loyal staff stand by him, and he must prove he has changed before the last petal falls from an enchanted rose.
EastEnders star Cheryl Fergison and Leah Bell lead the cast alongside Jason Jones, with dazzling costumes, hit songs and plenty of audience participation. Accessible dates include a signed and a relaxed performance.
