An evening of Kate Bush – Newcastle
Newcastle Cathedral hosts An Evening of Kate Bush on Saturday 29th August, with promoters Let Me In bringing a ten-piece band and the Mike Nowland String Quartet into the cathedral’s ethereal surroundings for a night dedicated to Bush’s music.
The set moves chronologically through her catalogue, from debut album The Kick Inside to 2005’s Aerial, taking in classics like Running Up That Hill, Cloudbusting and Wuthering Heights, plus a full performance of the Ninth Wave suite from Hounds of Love for fans wanting the deeper cuts.
