Active Sunderland BIG Walk – Sunderland
Active Sunderland brings back its ever-popular BIG Walk at Herrington Country Park, with a route to suit every level.
Choose from a 3 mile circular route with fun activities alongside Active Sunderland staff, ideal for families, young children and beginners, a 6 mile route for beginners wanting to push a little further, a 9 mile route for more experienced walkers, or a 13.5 mile challenge for those chasing a personal best. Anyone not keen on the group activities can simply follow the signed route solo or in their own group, and it’s a nice one to turn into a fundraiser for a favourite cause too.
