A Stitch in North Shields Time – Old Low Light Heritage Centre
To celebrate their 10th anniversary, Northern Threads have turned to textiles to portray life in and around North Shields for this exhibition.
Founded with the ambition to bring people together to create textile art, the group is a great example of how a community can come together and create in homage to their hometown.
Entitled A Stitch in North Shields Time, the display is inspired by the fish quay and the town’s heritage, environment, and wildlife.
