Already had your say on North East buses? You could be in with a chance of winning one of three treats as a thank you for taking part.
This is not the first time the region has been asked about transport. When the Mayor’s Local Transport Plan went out to consultation in 2025, more than 16,000 people across the North East responded, with strong backing for a greener, better-connected network. This consultation is the next chance to shape what actually happens.
It runs until 9am on Monday 28th September 2026, with more than 30 consultation events happening across the North East alongside the online survey. You don’t need to be a regular bus user to have an opinion worth hearing. Whether you catch the bus every day, occasionally, or not at all, the MSA wants to know what you think.

PRIZES UP FOR GRABS
There are three prizes up for grabs below, each with its own separate winner. Every entrant is in with the chance of winning one prize, not all three.
A luxury stay at TipToe Retreat: a two-night stay in either Brock or Howlet at TipToe Retreat, excluding bank holidays, Christmas, Easter and New Year.
A Tyne Cruises city cruise for two: two adult tickets for a one-hour City Cruise, to be used on any regular one-hour City Cruise before the end of the year. Not valid on special cruises such as the Santa or Halloween sailings.
A Blackfriars three-course à la carte for two: a three-course à la carte meal and a glass of fizz each at Blackfriars.
