Whoever wins gets £100 in spending credit to work their way through the small plates à la carte menu together. Share the Planche mixte, a house selection of charcuterie and cheese with homemade jam, walnuts, chutney and cornichons, or go traditional with six escargots cooked in garlic and parsley butter. All washed down with wines, cocktials and spirits.
For something heartier, the boeuf bourguignon, beef shoulder braised slowly in red wine with tomatoes, carrots and herbs, is a proper French classic. Leave room for the brioche pain perdu with salted caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. You’ll also be able to sample the extensive wine list, with the team on hand to recommend the perfect glass to go with your meal.
