Oseyo

Oseyo is opening its first North East store this Saturday, at Eldon Square, and it’s much more than an Asian supermarket. Inside you’ll find viral snacks, fresh produce, Korean skincare and enough instant ramen to keep you going for months.
There’s a Ramyun Library, Japanese claw machines and Korean-style photobooths, plus the biggest Korean beauty range Oseyo has stocked anywhere. Head down on opening day for tastings, live demonstrations and VIP goodie bags. Newcastle’s love affair with Korean culture is only getting bigger, and this one’s set to be busy.
Cullen Works
Unit 15, Hoult’s Yard in Walker Road, Newcastle upon Tyne NE6 2HL
Kiln founder Richard Cullen is bringing pottery production back to Hoult’s Yard this summer with Cullen Works, marking the first time ceramics have been made on the former Maling Pottery site in more than 60 years.
Alongside a working production studio, you can book onto hands-on pottery workshops, catch exhibitions or see collaborations with local artists take shape. If you’ve ever admired the tableware at Kiln, this is your chance to see exactly where it’s made and get your hands dirty yourself.
Milton St. Market

A new food and drink destination is coming to Saltburn in the next few weeks, bringing fresh life to one of the town’s most recognisable buildings. Milton Street Market will take over the former Methodist Church on Milton Street, transforming the historic space into a new food hall, bar and events venue.
