So, what’s new?

The Farm Shop
The newly opened Farm Shop is a food lover’s paradise. Featuring a wide range of fresh, seasonal produce, the shop is committed to sustainability and supports local farmers and suppliers. Head Butcher Dan leads the butchery, offering a variety of locally sourced meats, seasonal cuts, and dishes that reflect the best of Northumberland’s produce. The delicatessen and patisserie sections have also expanded, with homemade pies, sausage rolls, quiches, and an array of sweet treats that make it hard to leave empty-handed.

The Courtyard Kitchen
Visitors can enjoy delicious, home-cooked meals at the Courtyard Kitchen, which offers both indoor seating and an outdoor south-facing courtyard. From hearty breakfasts to light lunches, the menu features some of Head Butcher Dan’s finest items, including the Brocksbutchers Burger, which can also be purchased directly from the Butchery. Special dietary options ensure that everyone can enjoy the best of Brocksbushes’ foodie offerings.

The Children’s Play Barn
The new Children’s Play Barn, which opens on Friday 16th August, is the final exciring new offering for Brockbushes. Featuring climbing structures, creative play areas, and roleplay rooms, it promises endless fun for kids. Parents can relax in the café area, enjoying coffee and cake while their children play safely. The Play Barn also connects to an outdoor playground, complete with climbing frames, slides, mud kitchens, and sand pits, providing entertainment for all ages. Sessions are run three times a day and must be booked online to secure a spot.

A family history
Did you know that Brocksbushes has been a beloved family-run business for over 40 years? It started with selling home-grown produce from a flatbed trailer. As the Dickinson family saw increased foot traffic and demand, they decided to expand, culminating in today’s state-of-the-art facilities that promise to enhance the customer experience.
Rose Dickinson, Director of Brocksbushes, said: “Our goal has always been to create a destination where people can enjoy a family day out or simply grab a coffee and a homemade sausage roll. With the opening of our brand-new building, we believe Brocksbushes will be an even more special place for our community.”
