West Texas smash cocktail recipe

Serves: 1

INGREDIENTS

4 slices green bell pepper

1 whole jalepeño, sliced

1 heaping teaspoon local honey

2 ounces gin

1 ounce pineapple juice (ideally fresh, but can be canned)

Tajín for the rim

METHOD

Muddle peppers and honey together in a cocktail shaker, add in the gin and juice, and shake with ice.

Double strain in a Tajín-rimmed glass with a large block of ice.
